Who says you have to travel out of the country to have a perfect getaway, to let loose entirely.
Good Friday was spent with the girls at Marina Barrage for a picnic session.
Finally a proper picnic session that everyone prepared something by themselves and a real decent picnic then the previous ones I've had had.
Day well spent because they decided to surprise the two April babies: Me and Joy just while we were preparing our food to be set for show. :)
Wasn't expecting much for the birthday this year because I thought it was meaningless already and I'm a little bit tired of growing up anyway HAHA. But thankfully for the girls because it's gonna be hard to celebrate our birthdays together since everyone's working and slogging their life in this money-means-everything society.
&I know I will still feel upset if nothing's done for my birthday even if I said its meaningless. LOL, contradicting is my hobby.
Started out at the sheltered area because the rain just stopped and we were afraid that the rain will comes back since the sky is foggy and weather forecast said it will rain for the whole day islandwide. But we moved to the open space on top after finishing all the food since the sky was clear and there were a lot of people there already.
Got a kite for us before heading up and I think it's cute and worth the money. Hehe.
With the sky full of kites, there's no doubt we have a good 10mins of photo taking thanks to the photographer of the day.
Really think the photos turned out nice even though they are not that decent but who cares. These people are crazy. HAHAHA.
Spent the evening flying the ladybird up into the sky. The weather was soooooooo good I hope it can be like this everyday.
It gets really funny when there's only one kite and 4 people manoeuvring it to get it up into the sky. One at the end releasing the string, the 1 controlling the string so that they dont get entangled as the string is released, one pulling and setting the kite while the last one running to release the kite.
That's the first sail of the kite and I was trying to learn how to control the string and the kite. LOL. After that, I left it for the others to fly the kite because the landscape at the back was so prettaye when the sun sets. :D
Well, the photo did no justice to the scenery at all, like really.
Stayed till around 8+pm before we make to Cityhall where we surprise the next April baby, the oldest amongst us. HAHA. That girl decided to be so touched and cry that makes the few of us go awwww and cry along. LOL.
CHIJMES to support her store, P&C which has pretty decent signature drinks and creative drinks. HAHA.
Chilling with them, joking and talking about anything under the sky is always great with the right company. :) Really thankful for this bunch of people I know from poly and giving me one of the best memories during poly and of course after graduation. Can't wait to grow old with them and participate in each others' life. It's hard to not love them when they are one of those people who does crazy stuff together and not mind each other's unglam. Yay to our infinite years down the road. :>
Selfie time! HAHA.
Till then x
