I can't get used to it.

^ Just one of those days I decided to take a selfie. LOL.

Anyway, intern has been taking a toll on me. It seems like forever since intern has started but it's been 3 weeks alr. 

I sound contradicting but yes, time really passed that fast that it has been 3 weeks since I've started working at CWP but I always look forward to my only rest day, which is Saturday, even before the week has started for me.

Everyday, I dread going to work because there's always nothing for me to do and sometimes I could just sit there for hours without anything to do, partly because I don't want to disturb my colleagues because they are all so busy with all the important things and I felt like a burden if I keep interrupting them. 

But the horrible things just had to happen, being left alone in the cubicle at the far end of the office, with 2 cubicles empty because they left for meeting while one was away on leave. Totally fell asleep for almost 20 mins because I couldn't get through the person I was supposed to call and there was practically nothing for me to handle. I even munched non stop because there was really nothing to do.

Everyday, I will see my classmates on whatsapp, social medias saying how fun their work has been and I sat there thinking what were I doing there. What they do sounds so fun and I'm stuck in the office for almost 10hours everyday. I know I shouldn't compare but honestly, this was not what I wanted. 

But then again, there are always pros and cons to everything and at the very least, I'm grateful for having to work so near from home and having nice people in the office as much as how much the boredom it gave me.  &it's only week 3. Maybe the fun things are waiting for me at the back. I still have 19 weeks to anticipate, I shouldn't be complaining right. 

I hope I get to do something important, something to let people see my worth, something for me to show off during my final presentation, something to share with my friends, something I can be proud of. 

Anyway, before I end off, I finally got some time and met some people last week and had a little catch up session with them. 

A very long time ago photo of the 4 1/2 girls but we had a short meet up the other day at Thai Express @ J8 where I had my super spicy noodles. But it's always nice to be catching up with them because we are never awkward even though we don't get to meet very often. 

Then @CHIJMEs for a mini drinking session with my fav girls& Laila's cousin and invited Kokting to join us as our sister. HAHA. It's nice seeing them as well, seeing most of them adapting well at their intern while the rest happy with their lives. 

It's only mid week and I'm looking forward to Saturday. When had I not looked forward, ever since the start of intern. 

19 weeks to go, jiayou.
